The history of Processautomatic
Processautomatic was founded in 1968 and as such has over 40 years experience within the flow meter industry. The
company started as an agency business selling turbine flowmeters and associated electronics. Over the following years the company developed to also become a manufacturer of both Turbine Flowmeters and associated electronics.
During the 1970's Processautomatic's main product was the Rate Proportional Blender (RPB). This Product has become the first legacy we have left. The RPB was the world's first fully automated inline blending system & was developed together with Alfa Laval.
The focus was placed early on the food and beverage industries. This focus has continued with products continually being adapted to the special demands presented by this industry. Because of this, we design our flow meters to be hygienic both on the inside and on the outside.
We have long experience of international business, having exported our products to most parts of the world. Most of our sales have been to The United States, Europe, Australia & Asia. In 1978 Processautomatic Australia PTY Ltd was established and has been present on the Australian market since.
The 1990's presented Processautomatic with its largest product development project, the introduction of its PROMAG Electro Magnetic Inductive Flow Meter. Years of experience from hygienic applications and field experience went into this design. Therefore it has a Stainless Steel flow tube & robust replaceable plastic electronics module. This design enables built in electronics and provides a small and neat constructional design despite high flow temperatures. It also ensures easy maintenance. With vital values being stored on the terminal card, the replacement electronics module became interchangeable with any PROMAG Magnetic Flow Meter, providing additional production security.
