About us
Processautomatic is a specialized manufacturer of flowmeters. We provide standard and custom flow measuring solutions to hygienic and industrial applications. The main emphasis is and has always been on hygienic applications.
Our main focus has always been on high quality products, where most details are handmade. This gives us the ability to be flexible in respect to what we can offer our customers. Some of our products have been developed solely in co-operation with specific customers and others are completely custom designs.
We have an in-house quality & control system that follows product production from design to final delivery. A lot of effort is always spent on ensuring continued high quality in all of our products; as such we have implemented stringent testing routines of our products. All of our products are thoroughly tested prior to delivery. Our pre-delivery testing system is designed to closely simulate field conditions. This includes subjecting products & product components to high temperatures, vibrations, and general overload conditions. This way we know that each delivered product retains the high quality for which we stand.
Our main advantage is being able to offer fast and qualitative service to our customers. We do not have telephone queuing systems, instead we have knowledgeable personnel answering the phone so you get the help you need with your enquiry.
The history of Processautomatic
Processautomatic was founded in 1968 and as such has over 40 years experience within the flow meter industry. The company started as an agency business selling turbine flowmeters and associated electronics. Over the following years the company developed to also become a manufacturer of both Turbine Flowmeters and associated electronics.
During the 1970's Processautomatic's main product was the Rate Proportional Blender (RPB). This Product has become the first legacy we have left. The RPB was the world's first fully automated inline blending system & was developed together with Alfa Laval.
The focus was placed early on the food and beverage industries. This focus has continued with products continually being adapted to the special demands presented by this industry. Because of this, we design our flow meters to be hygienic both on the inside and on the outside.
We have long experience of international business, having exported our products to most parts of the world. Most of our sales have been to The United States, Europe, Australia & Asia. In 1978 Processautomatic Australia PTY Ltd was established and has been present on the Australian market since.
The 1990's presented Processautomatic with its largest product development project, the introduction of its PROMAG Electro Magnetic Inductive Flow Meter. Years of experience from hygienic applications and field experience went into this design. Therefore it has a Stainless Steel flow tube & robust replaceable plastic electronics module. This design enables built in electronics and provides a small and neat constructional design despite high flow temperatures. It also ensures easy maintenance. With vital values being stored on the terminal card, the replacement electronics module became interchangeable with any PROMAG Magnetic Flow Meter, providing additional production security.
Customer Service:
We know that it can sometimes be difficult to know which flow meter type you need. We would be glad to help you in any way we can. The only information we need is what you want to measure and how much. If our current flow meters are not what you are looking for we can custom design your flow meter or help you obtain what you need.
All of our Flow Meters are delivered ready to use and supplied with a calibration certificate and manual. This means that we pre-calibrate all Flow Meters, including Turbine Internals-Only, prior to delivery. On our Magnetic Inductive Flow Meter range, we also pre-program and enter all flow data, all you have to do is install it.
We may be old fashioned, but we still believe that the customer should be at the centre of attention, no matter how large or small the query may be.
Quality & Control:
We have an in-house quality & control system that follows product production from design to final assembly and delivery. A lot of effort is always spent on ensuring continued high quality in all of our products; as such we have implemented stringent testing routines and quality control of all of our products. All components are thoroughly examined and checked to see that they meet our high standards and that they meet set specifications. All products are thoroughly tested prior to delivery to see that they are free from any faults or flaws.
Our pre-delivery testing system is designed to closely simulate field conditions; this includes subjecting products & product components to high temperatures, vibrations, and general maximum load (overload) conditions. This way we know that each delivered product retains the high quality for which we stand. It is always difficult to simulate field conditions, which is also why our long experience is proven to be so valuable for our customers.
